I loved WeatherEye for the little sun icon, but the "processing time" was too laggy for my little BB curve so it bugged me when I'd accidentally click on the sun and then my BB got stuck while it went to the app.

So when I got weatherbug I wasn't too fond of the little bug and the current temp, but I downloaded a weatherbug direct extension for the forecast which showed me a little sun icon on my home screen. See my little moonlit cloud?? Aint it cute!
This is how you can do it once you download WeatherBug.
Go to OPTIONS from the menu and select WeatherBug Settings.
Go to Weatherbug Portal and select Weatherbug Direct Extensions and select VIEW> Weatherbug Forecast > Details and you will see this screen. It will show as Uninstalled until you install it.
When you have it on your home screen, it will show the icon that pertains to the day's weather, and the High and Low will show when you scroll under the icon.
I always hide the original weatherbug icon so only the forecast extension shows and not the little bug. Yay!
Here's some more details on customizing:
To open WeatherBug Direct Settings:
- Select the "Options" icon from the homescreen (sometimes this icon is contained in the settings menu).
- Select "WeatherBug Settings" from the list.
