My OS because it was 4.5.0.110 and laggy as all hell. I upgraded AFTER I downloaded BBM 5.0 and that worked fine. The upgrade process was 10 min and simple.
TO UPGRADE SOFTWARE TO CURRENT FOR 83xx >> Must use a PC to download, but totally quick easy and painless! All I did was connect my BB via USB and play on my laptop til it was done. Click on the link from a PC!
