Hello everybody! IN case you missed my old posts about moving over to www.mellyberrythemes.com, I've moved over there and also added a new post about exporting old 83xx and other theme links.

Please make sure to post a comment with the name of any theme link you want restored and at the end of the week I'll do the most popular theme. I'm still getting emails about them so rather than email me, please comment on that post!

Calorie Counter App by FatSecret

Okey dokie pokies! I got a new app from FatSecret.com for you trying to get your butt in shape now that the sun has finally decided to show its pretty little head!

As usual I want an app that I can use on my BB but also one I can access online!

You can log daily weigh-ins, log your meals easily, and also add in exercises. You can see your weight tracker as a chart and all sorts of other nifty stuff! Definitely my new fave.

I’m not sure what it is about logging food, weight and exercise for me but I’m all for it. I think it might be the accountability factor, but who knows! Anyway I tried a different app before for SparkPeople.com since I’ve been a member of that site, but this Calorie Counter app by Fat Secret seemed to be simpler and less laggy for me, I luv it!

"Our Groceries" shopping list app

I’ve went on an app hunt again for a grocery list and I found an awesome free one that I just HAVE to share! Now normally I keep my grocery list in a memo in my bb called food/groceries and add them as I think of them (which is all day every day) and just delete delete delete when I’m shopping and once I put the item in my grocery cart. So pretty much if you see me at the grocery store, my head is stuck in my bb and it starts to interfere with my actual grocery shopping experience.

The GREATEST thing about this app is the fact that you can keep a list on your BB as well as access and edit your list online, which is my personal fave since I’m on a computer most of the day, AND you can also share your grocery lists with your family members who also have smart phones. That means hubbs with the android or iPhone can now have access to your grocery list!

You can also make multiple lists, and also cross off items on the list with a simple touch of the spacebar. If you know me, or just follow me on twitter, you know my insatiable shopping problem, so I have lists for clothes/foods/furniture/shoes, everything you can think of, all separated in various memos in my memo pad. Lovely right! Here is the answer to organized shopping!

New 9800 Slider phone coming soon!

So.. I’m kind of on the fence about this one but I do like the idea of a new BB Slider phone, because prior to my BB life, I had my mind set on an HTC fuze but the suckers were just too expensive so I got myself a lil 83xx curve to tide me over until my AT&T contract expired and I was up for an upgrade. I’m hearing the 9800 will be available on AT&T in June, and possibly available on Sprint sometime late October, so even though I love my 9700 and all, the grass is always greener on the other side!

The first couple of pics I saw weren’t that exciting, and made it look downright scruffy, but the second pics I saw with the touch screen in action were pretty sweet. Initially the first touch BB, the Storm, came out with landscape and portrait view as well as Rim’s SurePress technology, and from what I hear, it made their touch pad keyboard a pain in the xxx.

Looks like this 9800 slider keeps the portrait view of the standard phones we like, with a slide out keyboard below instead of to the side like some of the HTC models out there. Although I’d love to have a wider slide out keyboard and a landscape view, I’m sure it would make theming the phone a nightmare like the Storm devices so I can’t say I’m sad about it. J

We’ll have to see how it turns out, but hopefully it will be everything we hope for and more!

So I’m one of those people who hates redundancy and ineffiency, and that includes taking pics on my camera, plugging it in and downloading to PC via USB. This also includes taking a pic on my BB camera, emailing to myself, saving the picture to my PC, and then uploading to another website in order to post it somewhere.

In all honesty, I have a million things I need to sell on Ebay, my camera battery is dead and I can’t find my stupid camera charger. So I found this new app from Blackberry App world which allows you to take pictures on your phone, upload to the website and it’s FREE. It’s called “I Took This on My Phone” http://itookthisonmyphone.com/phones.aspx send yourself an email with the link or you can download from blackberry app world.

You can also set it up to send the photos to Flicker, Picasa, Facebook and anywhere else you wish.

So I went on another case buying frenzy so you'll be seeing these over the next week or so.
